Building Department - Information


Just a reminder of some of the items that require permits from the building department:

• fireplace installations;
• fences over 6 ft;
• sheds over 120 sq ft;
• hot tub installations;
• additions;
• remodels;
• deck;

All new construction within Town limits requires a soils report at the time of submittal.

Subdivisions that have Homeowner Associations require signoffs from the Association prior to submitting for building permit issuance. Those forms are located at the building department which is on the second floor at Town Hall.
