Super Tots (4-6 years)

Basic gymnastics skills such as strength, flexibility and balance, which will help your child with a variety of activities, will be the focus of this class. This course is instructor taught and children learn to listen and follow directions. Parents are welcome to watch during class, but they are not required to be present.

Introduction to Gymnastics (6-12 years)

Children learn basic gymnastics skills on our full sized competitive equipment as well as our shaped, skill developing mats. Participants will work on strength, flexibility and confidence in order to progress towards more advanced moves.

Intermediate/Advanced Gymnastics (6-12 years)

Gymnasts should enroll in this class when they are comfortable with basics skills such as cartwheels, rolls, springboard jumps, pullovers on uneven bars, and high beam.  Participants will refine basic skills and develop more advanced skills on floor, bars, vault, beam, and mini trampoline.  Advanced gymnasts will work on more difficult skills.  The advanced group is for those who want to keep up with their gymnastics, yet do not have the time or desire to join team.

Silverthorne Storm Team Gymnastics (6-18 years)

Level 4 gymnasts perfect basic skills and learn compulsory routines that use fundamental gymnastics movements.  Advanced skills are also introduced.

Optional level gymnasts work towards more advanced skills and compete with routines designed specifically by them, and the coach, using the gymnast’s best skills.

Meets are held during summer through C.A.R.A. (Colorado Association for Recreational Athletes).  The fall and winter sessions are spent building skills and confidence, in preparation for the summer competitive season.

Gymnastics Open Work Out (high school age and up)

This class is designed for gymnasts who want to keep up with their skills or get back on the equipment.  Each class will have an instructional clinic on specific skills or equipment.  There will also be an open gym time to work on tricks of each gymnast’s choice.
