Aquatics - Pool Rules
- POOL AREA RULES
- All children under the age of 7 MUST be within arms reach of an adult at
all times.
- If child is wearing water wings, inner tube, flotation swimsuit or lifejacket they MUST be within arms reach of an adult at ALL times. - NO EXCEPTIONS!
- No running, horseplay, chicken fights, or pushing allowed at the pool.
- Diving is permitted only to the left of the yellow slide and with the guard's approval. Absolutely NO back dives or flips.
- All patrons must shower before entering pool.
- No food, gum, drinking (except water), in pool areas. Tobacco is prohibited.
- No hanging, going under or sitting on railings.
- No sitting, or playing on
the lap lanes.
- No glass containers allowed in the pool area.
- Children of diaper wearing age MUST wear "Little Swimmers" or plastic pants with tight fitting elastic legs. Disposable diapers will
NOT be permitted!
- No patrons will be allowed in storage or office areas without employee's approval.
- No outrageous public displays of affection.
- Anyone wearing a PFD (Personal Flotation Device) MUST have an adult within arms reach of him or her at ALL times!
- Snorkels are allowed only for lap swimmers 16 years and older or people
under 16 having a current Scuba Certification.
- LAP POOL
- Only lap swimmers will be permitted in the lap lanes.
- Kick boards, fins, and pullbouys are for lap swimming only, children may use equipment ONLY if they are swimming laps and using the equipment properly.
- Flotation devices (lifejackets, water wings, inflatable toys will only be allowed at the discretion of the lifeguard.)
- Go under the lap lanes - not over. No sitting or hanging on the lap lanes.
- No playing on the access ramp or on the railings.
- No Diving.
- BASKETBALL HOOP
- No contact with the rim or net is allowed.
- Minimal physical contact among players.
- No deck to water jump shots.
- No one will be allowed on someone's shoulders
- No dunking.
- SLIDE POOL
- Riders MUST go feet first and face up at all times. Sitting Indian style, on knees, rolling around and spinning will not be permitted.
- Only one person allowed at a time - allow the person ahead of you to enter the splash pool before you
go down the slide.
- No stopping on the slide.
- No flotation devices allowed on the slide including lifejackets, water wings and inflatable suits.
- No throwing of toys or balls to other people going down the slide.
- Goggles are permitted, but must be worn at all times. Masks with nose
pieces are not allowed on the slide no exceptions.
- No running on the slide tower steps.
- Exit pool immediately (no hanging out!).
- Small children may be required to take a swim test as a prerequisite.
- Patrons should use the ladder.
- Overflowing the tub at the top of the slide will not be permitted.
- Elderly persons, those suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, pregnant women, or persons using prescription medication should consult their physicians before using the slides.
- ONLY parents / Adults (16 or older) may catch or ride down with NON-SWIMMING children -
NO EXCEPTIONS!
- KIDDY POOL
- No running!
- No jumping into the whirlpool.
- No large flotation devices in this pool (rafts, blow up animals) at
lifeguard discretion.
- SILVEY (WHALE SLIDE)
- Feet first and face up only!
- Children ages 9 and younger only.
- Exit from slide area immediately.
- No climbing on the whale.
- One child at a time.
- No playing with the jets or spouts.
- Must use stairs - no climbing up the tongue.
- No running on blue mat.
- DEEP POOL
- Diving allowed only at the guard's discretion (must be to the left of the
yellow slide).
- No back dives.
- No flips.
- No playing on or under the railings.
- Flotation devices (noodles, inflatable's only at guard's discretion.
- We do not allow non-swimmers in the deep pool.
- An adult or parent (16
years or older) must supervise young children.
- Small children may be asked to take a swim test as a prerequisite before entering pool.
- TYPHOON SLIDE (YELLOW SLIDE)
- Feet first and face up ONLY!
- No flotation devices allowed!
- Parents are NOT allowed to catch their children - children MUST be able to swim by themselves to use this slide. Parents may spot by the platform by the steps.
- One person at a time allowed on the structure - patrons must wait at the bottom of the stairs.
- The area in front of the slide MUST be clear before the next person goes down.
- No swimming across the pool when the slide is in use.
- Elderly persons, those suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, pregnant women, or persons using prescription medication should consult their physicians before using this slide.
- INDOOR HOT TUB
- No horseplay, splashing, or swimming in the hot tub.
- No toys, balls, playthings etc. in the tub.
- No flotation devices of any kind.
- A responsible person 16 or older MUST be within the area of the hot tub to supervise children under the age of 12.
- Elderly persons, those suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, pregnant women, or persons using prescription medication should consult their physicians before using this hot tub.

Infants should not be in the hot tub because their core temperature rises too
quickly.
- OUTDOOR HOT TUB
- Enter at your own risk. (No Lifeguard on Duty)
- No one under the age of 16 is permitted (Even if with an adult) NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Do not spend more than 15 minutes in the tub at one time.
- No horseplay, swimming or splashing in the tub.
- No rolling or playing in the snow.
- No entrance or exit through the emergency gates.
- Infants should not be in
the hot tub because their core temperature rises too quickly.
- SAUNA
- Children under the age of 12 MUST be directly supervised at all times by an adult (16 years or older).
- No horseplay.
- No pouring water over the rocks.
- Do not leave paper or towels in the sauna.
- STEAM ROOM
- Children under the age of 12 MUST be directly supervised at all times by an adult (16 years or older).
- Do not hose or wet down the temperature probes.
- No horseplay.
- Eucalyptus is automatically injected into the steam at a set rate.

Patrons must be dressed in a swimsuit to use the steam room.
- Wearing only a
towel is prohibited.
- No shaving or other personal hygiene while in the
steam room.
