Blue Print Silverthorne

BPSLogo2In May of 2014, The Silverthorne Planning Commission and Town Council approved Resolutions to adopt the amended Comprehensive Plan.  The Plan, which is the guiding document for the future development of the Town, provides policies on Land Use, Community Design, Transportation, Economic Development and Growth that reflect the Community Vision for the future of Silverthorne.

Comprehensive Plan Implementation

In 2015, the Town began implementation of the Comprehensive Plan policies by adopting revised Design District Standards and Guidelines for the Town's six commercial districts.  During the Fall of 2015, the Town began a public outreach process to discuss a proposed Town Core Zone District.  The proposed zoning district has been designed to align land uses and zoning requirements with the policies of the Comprehensive Plan. The standards for the Town Core Zone District were approved by Town Council on February 10, 2016. Thank you to all property owners and citizens for your input during this project.

Please follow these links to the updated Town Core Zone District standards, and the updated 2016 Use Schedule.

The proposed boundaries of the Town Core Zone District is shown here:
