The community is invited to a Meet and Greet with the three final Silverthorne Town Manager candidates at the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. During the Meet and Greet, each candidate will speak briefly about their background and interest in Silverthorne, followed by an opportunity for community members to speak with the candidates. Attendees will also be able to provide feedback regarding the candidates via comment cards.
The Town of Silverthorne looks forward to the Meet and Greet as an opportunity for community members to engage in the Town Manager selection process. Light refreshments will be provided.
Silverthorne Town Manager Final Candidates

Gregory Camp is an experienced municipal leader with more than two decades of public service in Missouri, currently serving as City Administrator for the City of Festus. In this role, he oversees more than 110 employees and manages budgets exceeding $38 million. Greg has been recognized with the 2025 Jay T. Bell Award for professionalism and ethical conduct by the Missouri City/County Management Association (MCMA), where he also served as a past president. Prior to Festus, he spent ten years as City Administrator for Desloge, where he improved the city’s financial standing and strengthened operational performance. Greg’s public service career also includes time as Mayor and Alderman for Desloge, giving him extensive insight into governance, budgeting, and community leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration (Magna Cum Laude) from Upper Iowa University and is a Credentialed Manager through the International City/County Management Association.
Ted Cherry is a dedicated public administration professional with over a decade of municipal leadership experience in Colorado, South Dakota, and Kansas. He currently serves as Town Manager of Granby, Colorado, overseeing multiple departments, guiding long-range planning efforts, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and leading major community development and infrastructure projects. Prior to this role, he served as City Administrator for North Sioux City, South Dakota, and Leoti, Kansas, gaining significant experience in organizational management, economic development, housing initiatives, and emergency response. Ted began his career with Daktronics, Inc., building skills in client relations and project management. He holds a Master of Public Administration and bachelor’s degrees in Business Marketing and Political Science, all from the University of South Dakota.
Sarah Vaine is an accomplished public sector and nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience across behavioral health, public health, human services, and community-focused government operations. She currently serves as the Thriving Communities Division Director for the City of Golden, overseeing affordable housing strategies, homelessness response, grant administration, cultural programs, and the City’s racial equity and inclusion initiatives. Previously, Sarah held senior leadership roles as Vice President of Community Integration at Rocky Mountain Health Plans and as Assistant County Manager for Summit County, Colorado, where she managed major departments, guided emergency responses, and led countywide public health and human services initiatives. Her career also includes eight years as CEO of Summit Community Care Clinic—transforming it into a multi-site federally qualified health center—and earlier leadership roles in victim advocacy and behavioral health. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Xavier University, and a healthcare leadership certification from the Harvard School of Public Health.
