The Town of Silverthorne is making the first Friday of every month a reason for residents and visitors alike to get together and celebrate what’s special about this vibrant community. From arts and food to music and fun, First Fridays showcase the community’s talented artists and musicians. First Fridays are the town’s signature event series and welcome the entire community to participate.
Remember to walk, ride your bike, carpool or take the free Summit Stage to First Friday events. Please drink responsibly and designate a sober driver. No outside alcohol is permitted at First Friday events.

October First Friday Local Film Festival
October First Friday’s local film festival is back, and we want to see your stories on screen! The Town of Silverthorne is looking for local filmmakers to show off their work and films during October First Friday. Whether you’re a seasoned filmmaker or just beginning your film journey, this is a chance to show the community your hard work, connect with other creatives, and engage with a passionate local audience. First Friday Donations for Non-Profits
Non-profit applications for 2026 First Friday donations have closed. Applications for 2027 First Friday donations will open on Jan. 1, 2027 and close on Feb. 19, 2027.

Celebrate the holidays with the Town of Silverthorne at December First Friday! Head to the Silverthorne Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 4 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony and holiday art market. Sip on hot chocolate as you shop unique wares from local artists and enjoy live music, carolers, holiday crafts and more. Community members will also be able to visit with Santa himself.
The tree lighting ceremony will be held in front of the main Silverthorne Pavilion entrance at 6 p.m.
First Friday Tips
- Walk, ride your bike, carpool or take the free Summit Stage to First Friday as parking is limited.
- Bring your reusable First Friday cup for $1 off beer or wine.
- Drink responsibly and designate a sober driver.
- No outside alcohol is permitted at First Friday events.
