DESCRIPTION:<p></p><p>One of Silverthorne’s most popular First Friday events, the Locals’ Appreciation Party Sponsored by <a href="https://localsliquors.com/" target="_blank">Locals Liquors</a>, will be held on Friday, May 2 on the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center lawn from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature free beer, wine and liquor tasting and live music.&nbsp;</p><p>Donations to local non-profits are strongly encouraged to  participate in the event. &nbsp;Attendees may also purchase a full-size commemorative tasting cup at the entrance of the event for $50, with all proceeds going towards this year's non-profit beneficiaries.&nbsp;In years past, the Locals’ Appreciation Party has raised more than $46,000 for non-profit organizations.</p><p><span style="color: rgb(18, 15, 15); font-size: 22.4px; font-weight: 600;">First Friday Tips</span></p><ul>    <li>Walk, ride your bike, carpool or take the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.summitcountyco.gov/586/Transit-Summit-Stage" target="_blank">free Summit Stage</a>&nbsp;to First Friday as parking is limited.</li>    <li>Drink responsibly and designate a sober driver.</li>    <li>No outside alcohol is permitted at First Friday events.</li>    <li>While, well-behaved, leashed pets are allowed at outdoor Silverthorne events, please note that May First Friday is very crowded and it may be best to leave your four-legged friends at home.&nbsp;</li></ul>
