Silverthorne Awards $40,000 in Business Improvement Grants

Silverthorne’s emphasis and commitment to partnering with local businesses was demonstrated again this April as the Town Council approved $40,000 in business grants. Through the Business Improvement Program, the town awarded funds to nine Silverthorne businesses for site enhancement and economic development projects.

Introduced in March 2012, the Business Improvement Grant Program provides grants to businesses via a competitive application review process. Now in its fourteenth year, the Town has awarded grants to 74 Silverthorne businesses to date. Businesses submitted applications for site enhancement projects or capital projects that would bring new jobs or other economic development benefits to the community. 

Applications for business grants opened in January 2025, and under the direction of the Silverthorne Town Council, the Business Grants Committee reviewed applications and provided funding recommendations. The Silverthorne Town Council is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Silverthorne Business Grants:

Background on Silverthorne’s Business Incentive Programs: The Town of Silverthorne includes several business incentive programs, including the Business Improvement Grant Program and a revised Enhanced Sales Tax Incentive Program (ESTIP). These programs are part of the Town’s Economic Development Incentive Policy, which aims to partner with the business community to foster a diverse, stable, and sustainable economy.
