The Silverthorne Police Department has moved out of Silverthorne Town Hall and into a new police station at 251 West Fourth Street. The move from Silverthorne Town Hall to a repurposed building in Silverthorne's downtown core will allow the Silverthorne Police to serve the community better and provide the space needed for Silverthorne's fully staffed police department.

The new police station will provide the space, accessibility, and modern resources officers need, including dedicated areas for training and officer wellness, a welcoming space to serve our community, and room for future growth. The downtown location will also allow officers to respond more efficiently while delivering a continued high level of service and safety for Silverthorne.

The new police station is located in the former Family & Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC) building. Now that FIRC has moved to the new Sol Center in Breckenridge, the Silverthorne Police Department is using the space as a police station until a dedicated police facility is built in the future.

The new Silverthorne Police Station on Fourth Street will open to the public on May 1. During this transition, community members can call the non-emergency dispatch number at 970-668-8600, and a Silverthorne Police Officer will respond in person to assist.
