A planned power outage is taking place in part of Silverthorne on Tuesday, July 28 so that Xcel Energy can replace an electrical transformer. The power outage will start at 9 a.m. and is expected to last eight hours. 

Due to the planned power outage, Silverthorne Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday, July 28 and the Silverthorne Recreation Center will be closed starting at 9:00 a.m. Phone service will not be available at Silverthorne Town Hall or the Silverthorne Recreation Center during the power outage. Thank you for your patience and understanding as Xcel Energy completes this emergency electrical work.

Silverthorne Recreation Center Closure on Tuesday, July 28

The Silverthorne Recreation Center will close at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, due to a planned power outage by Xcel Energy. The facility will remain closed for the remainder of the day. The Silverthorne Recreation Center will reopen at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29.

• The Recreation Center will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
• The Recreation Center will close to the public at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
• All Recreation Center programming, activities, and services scheduled within the facility after 9:00 a.m. have been canceled, including Kids Korner and all drop-in fitness classes.
• Offsite Recreation programs and activities will continue as scheduled.

Members may use their recreation pass at the Breckenridge Recreation Center on Tuesday, July 28.
