Silverthorne Art Board Seeks Members
The Town of Silverthorne Art Board, a citizen advisory committee, seeks a community member to fill one opening on the Art Board. The Art Board, a five-person volunteer committee, drives the Town’s efforts in implementing the Arts and Culture Strategic Plan and reviews matters related to arts and culture in the Silverthorne regional community. Appointments are three-year terms.
LETTERS OF INTEREST
Those interested in serving on the Art Board must submit a letter of interest to be considered for appointment. Members that represent a range of backgrounds and experiences will be selected in order to best fulfill the goals of the Silverthorne Arts and Culture Strategic Plan. A copy of the Arts and Culture Strategic Plan can be found at Silverthorne.org / government / key town documents / recreation and culture / arts and culture strategic plan.
The Art Board currently meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Silverthorne Pavilion, Marketing and Arts Offices, located at 556 Adams Avenue. Lunch is provided at the meetings. Occasionally, additional meetings may be held as needed.
To be considered for the Art Board, a letter of interest must be submitted no later than Friday, September 20. Please include the following information:
Brief narrative describing:
- Why you are interested in serving on the Art Board
- Experience you have that will support you to drive the Town’s efforts in implementing the Arts and Culture Strategic Plan.
- Amount of time you are willing and able to commit to the Board
