First Fridays - Every Month 

The Town of Silverthorne is making the first Friday of every month a reason for residents and visitors alike to get together and celebrate what’s special about this vibrant community. From arts and food to music and fun, First Fridays showcase the community’s talented makers, artisans and performers, and include hosted evenings with artists, chefs, brewers, musicians and more in various locales that welcome the whole community to participate.

Twilight Skate - January 20, 2019

Come out to North Pond Park for an after-hours twilight skate. After having fun on the ice warm up with a bowl of chili and a "moon" pie for dessert. Headlamps or flashlights are recommended.  No skates, no problem, warm snow boots will work! This event is FREE and open to the public. North Pond Park is located at the intersection of Highway 9 and Hamilton Creek Road in Silverthorne, just across the street from Silverthorne Elementary School.

Father/Daughter Date Night - February 8, 2019

A special night just for Dads and Daughters! Get dressed up for this special date at the Silverthorne Pavilion! Join the fun that includes a DJ for an evening of dancing, a dessert bar, photo booth, goody bags, and door prizes. Mark your calendar as registration opens in December. 

Valentine’s Day Comedy - February 14, 2019

Whether Valentine’s Day makes you want to laugh or cry, you’ll be in good company at this annual event, which brings national comedy headliners like Paul Reiser, James P. Connolly, Jim Breuer and Kevin Nealson and to the Pavilion. Silverthorne officials work with Denver-based Comedy Works to bring talented comedians to town. Guests can reserve tables of eight and four or purchase individual tickets.

Pabst Colorado Pond Hockey Tournament - February 14-17, 2019

Every February throngs of hockey players flock to Silverthorne for the “Best damn pond hockey tournament in the U.S.A!” Taking place at North Pond, this event is equal parts nostalgia (if you grew up skating outdoors, you understand) and entertainment. An energetic affair, the tournament is accessible and friendly, and spectators are encouraged.

Moonlight Snowshoe at Angler Mountain - March 9, 2019 (CANCELED)

Get bundled up and come out for an evening snowshoe under the stars following Silverthorne's Angler Mountain Trail.  After the snowshoe, we will gather around the fire pit at North Pond Park's Warming Hut to enjoy warm beverages and snacks.  To get to the trailhead turn east at the intersection of Highway 9 and Bald Eagle Road.  Travel 1/2 mile on Bald Eagle Road, the trailhead is on the right.

Clean Up Day - May 18, 2019

Grab your grubbies, gloves, family, and neighbors and head out for a morning of sprucing up your community. Volunteers meet at Rainbow Park for area assignments at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers are invited back to the park at noon for an appreciation picnic. 

Dance Recital - May 19, 2019

Come enjoy a year-end performance of the Recreation Center Dance Program. Over 60 students will put on a show that will delight all. 

Fishing Derby - June 8, 2019

Children are invited to Trent Park Pond for the annual Silverthorne Kids Fishing Derby. This event kicks off a summer of fishing fun at the pond which will be stocked by the DOW. Bring your poles, bait and skills for a morning of fishing fun. The first cast is at 9:00 a.m. Trent Park Pond is located on the corner of Blue River Parkway and Willowbrook Road in Silverthorne.

4th of July with the National Repertory Orchestra - July 4, 2019

Start your Independence Day Celebration with a literal bang, thanks to the Lake Dillon Theater Company and the National Repertory Orchestra’s 4th of July concert in Silverthorne’s Rainbow Park. For more than a decade, this concert has paid tribute to the armed forces and is a stunning precursor to festivities that follow that afternoon and evening throughout the county.

Sand Volleyball Tournament - August 2019

Pumpkin Fest, Rainbow Park - October 5, 2019

Not only do kids get a free pumpkin, but this festival also offers all-day entertainment. Children will adore the petting zoo, cookie decorating, bounce house (weather depending) and fun games.

Holiday Bazaar - December 7, 2019 

A Holiday Bazaar for the local artist/craftsperson to sell their product just in time for the holiday gift-giving season. The event takes place inside our beautiful Town Pavilion.
