Kids Pool Closed from June 13 at noon until end of day June 14

The Silverthorne Recreation Center kids' pool will be closed from noon on Saturday, June 13, until the end of the day on Sunday, June 14, to replace the Turtle Slide pad. The kids' pool will reopen on Monday, June 15. Community members looking to use a kid pool may use their pass with the Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department during the closure.

Recreation Center Expansion Project

Weight Room 2 has reopened! Equipment from Weight Room 1 has been relocated to Weight Room 1 and the Aerobics Room. Weight Room 1 will remain closed for the remainder of the expansion project.

The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers a scholarship program to assist community members with program costs.

Rainbow Park Court Reservations

Court reservations are now available for tennis, volleyball, pickleball and basketball at Silverthorne's Rainbow Park. If no reservations or scheduled programs are using the courts, the courts may be used on a first-come, first-served basis. Please share court spaces and be courteous to other users. Silverthorne Recreation Center

Silverthorne's 65,000-square foot Recreation Center is the hub of our town. With four pools, two water slides, a spacious gym, indoor track, cardio and weight rooms, as well as a hot tub, sauna, and steam room, the Recreation Center has something for everyone. Open seven days a week, the Recreation Center also offers childcare, an extensive range of drop-in classes and free Wi-Fi. In addition, our neighborhood parks provide everything from public tennis and pickleball courts to skateboarding half-pipes to sledding hills to playgrounds and picnic pavilions.

Silverthorne Town Resident Rates

Silverthorne residents save up to 20% on memberships and select punch passes (daily admissions not included).
Silverthorne residents ages 70+ receive free membership.
To receive Silverthorne resident rates on memberships, guest must provide proof of residency with a Silverthorne physical address located within Silverthorne town limits. Valid forms of documentation include a valid Colorado Driver's license, current utility bill, home deed, lease or property tax receipt.

Age Requirements

6 months and younger: Public access areas (lobby, community room, restrooms). Pool, gymnasium, and track with an adult. In addition, and at your own risk, may be in the cardio, circuit and stretching areas only if secured in an infant car seat, at the side of and in clear sight of an adult.
6 months – 3 years: Kids Korner, by self after being enrolled in open childcare hours. When in arms reach of supervising, participating, and paying guest who is at least 16 years old may use public access areas, pool, gymnasium, and track. Children ages 4 years and younger from more than one household need a 3:1 ratio of kids to adults.
4-6 years: Kids Korner, by self after being enrolled in open childcare hours. When accompanied by a supervising, participating, and paying guest who is at least 16 years old may use public access areas, pool, gymnasium, and track. Children ages 6 and older must use gender specific locker room or family room.
7-11 years: Pool and gymnasium by self. When accompanied by a supervising, participating, and paying guest who is at least 16 years old may use track and hot tub. Youth ages 10 & 11 may also attend a fitness class with an adult 18+.
12-14 years: Pool, gymnasium, track, fitness classes, and hot tub by self. Cardio area and movement studio and circuit area only after completing youth equipment orientation. Youth ages 12-14 may also use cardio or circuit with an adult 18+.
15years +: All areas of the facility.

Kid's Korner

Kids Korner Let your little ones play and discover at Kid’s Korner while you get a great workout. Children ages 6 months to 6 years are welcome in Kid’s Korner while parents use the facility.

Reservations are not required, so drop on in during open hours. Time in Kid’s Korner is limited to two hours per child per day. See attendants for detailed Kid’s Korner policies.

Pass Refund Policy

Passes are non-refundable and punch passes expire one year from purchase. Extension will be granted only when proof of inability to use the facility due to medical reasons is presented in writing.

Guests who cannot use the facility due to non-medical reasons (e.g. moving from Summit County) may give or sell remaining time on their passes to another guest. A $10 transfer fee per pass will be assessed.

Reduced Rate & Program Scholarships

The Silverthorne Recreation Center offers program scholarships and reduced rate admissions and passes to those who apply and meet income guidelines. Completed confidential applications may be submitted in person to the Silverthorne Recreation Center front desk or emailed to recscholarships@silverthorne.org. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application via email within two weeks of submission.

All program scholarship applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the registration day or the start date of the requested program.

The Reduced Rate Memberships are available to assist households demonstrating financial need and are valid for one year from approval date.

Donations

The Town of Silverthorne accepts donations for the Silverthorne Recreation Center Scholarship Program. The scholarship program provides community members with limited financial resources an opportunity to participate in programs and activities at the Silverthorne Recreation Center for reduced or no cost. The scholarship program is open to community members of all ages. Thank you for helping provide recreational access for all.
