2026 Asphalt Milling and Paving 

The Town of Silverthorne is improving the roadways on a number of Town streets this summer. Roads will be milled and then paved along the following roads. Work will be completed at night in the areas of Rainbow Drive and Wildernest Rd. All other projects will be compelted during the day. Thank you for your patience as this important work to improve our roadways is completed! 

• Wildernest Rd. 
  • Paving will begin Monday, August 24, at 7 p.m. Westbound Wildernest Rd. will reopen at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, and Eastbound Wildernest Rd. will reopen at noon on Tuesday, August 25.
• Rainbow Dr.
  • Work will be completed at night 
  • Milling: Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21 
  • Paving: Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22
• S. Adams, Golden Eagle Rd. (turn at Bull Lake Ct. and Hunters Knob to Raven), Recreation Path (Ruby Ranch to S. Golden and S. Golden to N. Golden)
  • Milling: Thursday, August 27 to Monday, Augst 31 
  • Paving: Monday, August 31 to Friday, September 11

Fuel Mitigation in Silverthorne 

The Town of Silverthorne is working with Summit Fire & EMS to reduce wood fuels in open space between the Blue River Trail and Blue River Circle. This work is being completed to reduce hazardous wood fuels and improve wildfire resilience within the area, while maintaining ecological function and minimizing the disturbance to the surrounding environment. The project will begin in June and last throughout the summer. 

Hummingbird Circle Phase 2 Water and Sewer Main Construction

Hummingbird Circle Phase 2 water and sewer main construction is now underway. Lower Hummingbird Circle is closed to through traffic, and local residents should use Upper Hummingbird Circle for access. Work is expected to continue through October 15.
