Applicant must verify on the plans that the potential sleeping room meets the requirements for emergency escape and rescue openings, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide alarms as defined in Section 202 of the Town of Silverthorne adopted building code amendments.

5. Pay Water and Sewer Tap Fees
After the Building Inspector has inspected and verified the potential sleeping room meets code, please email buildinginfo@silverthorne.org so the permit technician can add the water and sewer tap fees to your online portal.
6. Certificate of Completion
Once the building inspection has passed and the tap fees have been paid, the permit technician will issue the Certificate of Completion via email. The technician will also notify the Summit County Assessors, Town of Silverthorne Short Term Rental Licensing Department (if applicable) and Utilities Department of the increase in bedrooms.

- Include revegetation information on site plan
- Designated snow storage area(s)

- Exterior lighting location on architectural elevations
- Architectural plans (floor plans, elevations, materials, must be stamped for commercial projects)
- Elevations with USGS ties for height calculations
- Structural drawings must be stamped by a Colorado architect/engineer, including design loads, code versions, and project type
- Foundation plans
- Framing plans
- 2018 IECC paperwork for commercial projects
