Smith Ranch Interested Buyers
Buyers interested in purchasing a home in the Smith Ranch Neighborhood should follow the lottery listings page on the Summit Combined Housing Authority (SCHA) website and apply for the properties they qualify for. Smith Ranch homes are publicly listed for 10 days, after which the SCHA conducts a lottery for the applicants.
Smith Ranch Resale Procedure for Sellers
- Complete the Notice of Intent to Sell form on the Summit Combined Housing Authority (SCHA) website.
- Complete the Resale Calculation Request form on the SCHA website. If you are including permitted capital improvements, please contact the Silverthorne Housing Manager, Vicente Kemp Lobo, for approval.
- SCHA will provide listing instructions upon completion of the Notice of Intent to Sell form. Your home must be publicly listed for 10 days.
- The SCHA will conduct a lottery for your property. The timing of the lottery will depend on the volume of applications.
- The buyer selected through the lottery process will have three business days to go under contract and put down earnest money.
Refinancing Homes at Smith Ranch
Existing Smith Ranch homeowners who wish to refinance should have the Title Company contact Silverthorne Housing Manager Vicente Kemp Lobo regarding the Promissory Note and Deed of Trust release and re-issuance.
