The Town of Silverthorne offers the following benefits to part-time employees, including seasonal employees.

Recreation Center  and Art Spot Passes

Part-time employees are eligible for a free pass to the Recreation Center and the Art Spot, renewable every six months depending on active employment. Part-time employees may also purchase a discounted family pass for each of these facilities. Employee discounts are available on certain purchases from the Recreation Center and the Art Spot. 

Holidays

Part-time employees will receive holiday pay on five set holidays if they meet certain eligibility requirements. 

Sick Pay 

Part-time and seasonal employees accrue one hour of sick pay for every 30 hours worked. 

Paid Family & Medical Leave 

The Town provides up to 12 weeks of paid family & medical leave for employees for FMLA covered reasons, paid at 80% of normal pay.

Wellness Program

The wellness program includes an annual health screening and health fair, activity-based incentives, wellness lunch and learns and challenges.
