Zoning: The Town of Silverthorne is divided into 10 zoning districts, the specifics of which are provided in Article IV, Zoning Districts and Standards, of the Town's Development Code. Each zoning designation has a set of standards for use, setbacks, lot coverage, and density. If you are interested in a zoning designation please locate your property on the Zoning Map. Once you have determined the zoning designation, the permitted uses can be found by consulting the Use Schedule which is organized by the type of use. On July 8, 2015, Town Council approved revisions to the Riverfront Zone District standards. On February 10, 2016, Town Council approved the Town Core Zone District standards.
Design Districts: The commercial areas of Town are also governed by Design District Standards. There are six Design Districts which provide additional site and architectural standards and set maximum allowable heights. Sign Districts: Sign regulations depend on location, and the Sign District in which the entity is located. To find a particular property please review the Sign District Map.
